 Hello everyone! I'm Melenda. I'm 33 years-old, married to a great guy, and I'm a "household manager" and artist. We don't have any children yet, but we would like to start a family. I live in Yardley, PA. I run my own business designing websites and running my own online gift shop where I sell my own stained glass creations and artwork. My weight loss background: From the age of 14-24, I was a compulsive overeater and bulimic. In 1994, I stopped the destructive behavior but I gained weight. I entered intensive eating disorders counseling in 1995. In 1998 I weighted 260 pounds, but after 3+ years of counseling and some important lifestyle changes, I lost 27 pounds. In 2003, I decided that it was finally time to do some serious work on getting my body healthy since I'd done the work to set my mind straight. Last year I lost 18 pounds and I'm now working toward the rest. I was recently diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), a condition that causes infertility. Weight loss will only help in my quest to start a family, and so I'm doing the best I can to incorporate a healthy lifestyle into my daily routine.
